This hospital seems to be slammed alot. I personally have had 2 surgeries here with over night stays. Ive got nothing but nice things to say. Tory from PACU is the best! Olivia and Autumn are stars as well. A shout out to Diane. This one has been here so long she is part of the woodwork. Thank you so much for making my stay an excellent one.

After an extended labor at home with my home birth midwife we decided a transfer was necessary for a safe delivery. We were graciously welcomed by the nurses and CNM Brittney B. The nurses were beyond kind and put up with my resistance to almost everything without talking it through as I hadn’t planned for a hospital birth. After delivering my lovely daughter, Brittney reached out to check in on us and I was beyond grateful. We received lots of help from the staff with learning to breastfeed, checking my daughter for oral ties, and making sure I had everything I needed to take care of myself postpartum. Our last night at St Joes we were also surprised with their complementary dinner which was phenomenal. I can’t thank them enough for taking us when they didn’t have to.

Exceptional Care and Compassion at St. Joseph’s Birth Center From the moment we arrived at the Birth Center at St. Joseph Hospital, we felt supported, cared for, and truly valued. The entire team — from the nurses and midwives to support staff — created an environment that was calm, reassuring, and family-centered. Every detail of our experience reflected professionalism and compassion. The staff took time to explain each step of the process, answer every question, and make sure both mom and baby were safe and comfortable. Their kindness and attentiveness made what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth and empowering. The unit itself is beautifully maintained — clean, peaceful, and designed to make families feel at home. You can tell that everyone there genuinely loves what they do and takes pride in delivering the highest quality care. I can’t thank the Birth Center team enough for their expertise, warmth, and humanity. St. Joseph’s Hospital truly sets the standard for what compassionate maternity care should be.

My wife picked this hospital after a thorough research amongst many hospitals in NH & MA for labor and delivery. Have to say her choice was the best. From maternal care prenatal until the delivery day and post partum the services were above and beyond. The entire staff was outstanding and highly supportive of normal delivery. The constant attention and care by nurses and doctors during labor is highly commendable. Their support, encouragement, skills, knowledge all contributed to a very safe normal delivery for my wife especially after our 1st child was delivered through c section. She was highly thankful and appreciative of everything the team did to help her. I would highly recommend the hospital. Need to also mention their food is out of this world. The celebration dinner was amongst the best dinners I've had in some top notch fancy restaurants. Overall this hospital has exceeded my expectations. Thank you for your services St Joseph staff!!!

God bless all the staff at St. Joseph. Everyone I met was so kind and compassionate. Right from checking in and my emergency surgery for a hernia on Saturday. I was impressed the whole time. Thank you so much!

I brought my fiancé to the ER for a series of serious issues, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about the care we received. Adam, Tammy, and Chris were the nurses on shift and they were absolutely incredible. Adam went out of his way to keep us informed every step of the way, checked in constantly, and made sure my fiancé was as comfortable as possible during a really scary situation. Tammy and Chris were equally compassionate, attentive, and kind. In a moment that felt overwhelming and terrifying, they made us feel heard, cared for, and safe. I’m beyond grateful for this team and the level of care they provided

A special thank you to Esperanza, who kindly helped transport me in a wheelchair. She was warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. Her calming presence made me feel comfortable and at ease during a stressful time. It’s clear that she truly cares about patients and the people she helps.

St Joseph’s midwives are the absolute BEST. I had my second child with them and I felt supported, informed, and understood. They truly listened to and addressed my concerns and fears and tried to really stick to my wishes for childbirth. They gave me options and information along the way and allowed me to make the decisions that worked best for me and my family. I am going back to their practice for my third. I love them. HIGHLY recommend.

I had a wonderful 1st night in the ER I had a wonderful evening shift and was treated with such kindness, care, empathy and the care continues into the morning with the St. Joseph School students her name was McKenzie. She willake an amazing nurse her bedside manner and attention to me in short time she had with on the 3rd floor was so warm. St Joseph School for nursery is doing a great job 10 🌟
